Hi,

I'm a part of a Livelink client 4.8.2 deployment (1000 Laptops / PCs park). On one particular laptop and one particular profile (because it works fine with my profile, witchever laptop model I gave to the user), the plugin makes Outlook (and then all Office applications...) crashes at startup. I've got the error:

Microsoft Office Outlook has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry...

At restart, Outlook tells me the Livelink plugin is responsible for the crash and ask me if I want to deactivate teh plugin. If I say "Yes", then Outlook works but all Office applications crashes at startup.

Here's the event viewer (app) report:
Faulting application outlook.exe, version 11.0.6565.0, stamp 42cacc7d, faulting module kernel32.dll, version 5.1.2600.3119, stamp 46239be7, debug? 0, fault address 0x00009796.

I tried pretty much everything:
- uninstall / install;
- recreate profile;
- change of laptop;
- change for another laptop model;

Furthermore, the bug is not consistent; I can't recreate it at will... I have to reboot and reboot and suddently, the error pop.

This is a known issue with the 482 release as far as I am aware. I think it should be fixed in 483/485 releases but recommend that you confirm that with your local OT Support desk.
