Live Update / Redirector problem

Trying to run Live Update ... all updates insll fine, except the one called Internet Security 2003 v6.0.4 Update (1562.5 kb). It says LiveUpdate must update
Symantec Redirector. Please install this update first, restart your computer, and run LiveUpdate again.

Have tried completely uninstalling all Symantec products, including editing the registry (as detailed on the Symantec site), but still problem persists.

Your help would be invaluable.
