What model? What are you burning on you DVDs? Are you using the "create DVD" features to make the disks? On your PC they work as if they were a regular DVD (the player starts and shows menus and everything?)
That's not exactly where I was heading, but does bring up another interesting question: what type of files (the file extension seen by the computer) does nero put on the dvd? But, back to my original thought: What type of dvd media are you burning on (what does it say on the package of blank discs)?
I'm using memorex DVD-R 8x. The discs that I have already burned are not even recongized on my computer in either of my drives. When it is saved the extension is .nvc
Sorry, I've been misunderstanding all along - I thought you were saying that the dvd's couldn't be played on a standalone (connected to your tv) dvd player (where -R might not work).
If it won't read in your computer's dvd player, that's a different matter. You don't happen to have the 'simulate' option checked when burning, do you?
