Is there a simple way to create a query or auditing tool that will list all fields in a table as well as their characteristics (size, type, key status, etc.)?

Listing the characteristics of all fields in a table.

Tools, Analyze, Documenter
On the Tables tab, select the tables to want to report on, then click the Options button to set how much detail to return.
Then click OK to get a report detlaing your tables and all their properties.
