NOt sure whcih forum to ask CallPilot issue:
just installed CallPilot desktop messaging on users' machines. Gave them mailbox class for desktop messaging. They access from Outlook fine. Problem is only with 3 of 16 of the users... when they go to listen to message from telephone. . From PC is fine.Error message pops up 'Destination is restricted or does not exist'. Other users can listen via telephone fine and there are 8 CallPilot Agents configured. Is there something in the CLS? 1 is an ACD phone, 1 has a DID and DN, 3rd is ACD w/DID.

Problem is only with 3 of 16 of the users

the problem is with the users pc or pc login permissions. the cp does not ckeck station class before allowing access via desktop as opposed to station voice access

I would check the RPL's in Callpilot. That leading digit may just be restricted in the RPL(Restriction Permission List) for Desktop.

I reinstalled desktop messaging client and still receiving 'Destination is restricted or does not exist'.
In CP Desktop Messaging Properties, Under Audio tab>Telephone Number field I removed the user's extension and entered my ext which CP Agent was able to ring. Why can it ring my extension and not their own?

mluckie1 -the CPAgents are 7401 through 7408 which in RPL, 7 is there(hope this was what you were talking about).
Thanks for your help

Possibly the "Computer" is not checked for audio output.
Look under Outlook, Tools, email accounts, click next, call pilot, change, audio, and "computer should be checked

There's two options to be able to listen to messages, telephone or computer. Computer works but telephone receives error 'Destination is restricted or does not exist'

Make sure that "7" is not in the Restriction, top block of numbers in the RPL. Check the mailbox class of service. At the end it will tell you what the RPL is for Desktop and Delivery to Telephone. Check both RPL's and make sure 7 is not restricted.

The Desktop Mailbox class RPL is set for Local. Under Local RPL, 7 is in permissions

Is Delivery to Telephone using the same RPL? I think that is the Table it uses.

Yes, in mailbox class, under RPLs, I have it set to use the LOCAL rpl which has permissions for 7. I installed 3 more and all 3 are having same issues.

What release of callpilot? Can you capture and post one of the Mailboxes that's not working?

Sure. Server 02.01.27 Client is 2.50.06.12
Did you need the tn printout or the CallPilot mb settings?
Thanks again

acewarlock - no I don't think so and... sorry not sure where I can double check it.

Is this a 3 digit extension number? Are all of the ones that are not working 3 digit? If that is the correct MB and you can dial that number internally make sure that 1 isnot restricted. Please send the MB class of service. Callpilot will try to dial the MB number.

staring at me right in the face....1 is in the restricted list. I will change that. Two of the extensions that aren't working start with 2 which is in permissions. I'll repost thx
