Does the Norstar have the capability to barge in or lets say for training purposes a manager can listen to a call in progress?

If so how is that implemented? I looked and don't see that in the documentation.

We have the modular unit.

anyways I logged on using feature **config and looked in that area and i don't see a place to set the supervisor.
after redirect ring comes ata. I do not see the option to set the supervisor at all. like it is described on page 149

Before we even get to this pont.. what version of MICS do you have? I thought you had 6.1.. If you have another previous version you definitely will not see this.

I'm fairly sure that we have 6.1. our bill of sale states that we have 6.1 however people lie.
but in any case. i just did feature **set and it shows SM Supervisor:N so i think that it's in there. however when i use feature **config i don't see sm supervisor at all.

does that feature need to be enabled somewhere? maybe it has to be added to the phone?

ok. i found out what my problem was.
i wasn't using the scplus password. now i see sm supervisor.

omg duh!

alrite did some tests and got it to work.

but damm this phone system should be advanced enough to be able to monitor any calls from a supervisor phone. incomming out going anything.
