Have a old embedded voicemail card and want to listen to the messages stored on it. I cant figure out how to do so. Files are stored as .clp

No you can't not or at least not very easy at all
I do not know a way how to do it

Do not trow away the 00030001.clp file or your embedded will stop working, it is part of the licensing of it !

Think the card has gone bad due to the CF cards write/erase cycle. Was hoping to recover some voicemails we had. Are these proprietary files from Avaya? or just g.711 compressed sound files? Id assume there would be a way to convert them.

try renaming it as a .wav and see what plays, don't use windows media though, try wavepad from nch.com.au

obviously copy the file first!

No luck. Though opening the file in vi i do notice some plain text that references extension and name of user. So id assume its got some extra data in it.
