Afternoon all,

Despite a thorough search I can't find a discussion about formatting list boxes. I know it's very limited, but I'm using ver. 2007 and the properties sheet shows several properties for gridlines when I select a listbox. However, when I set these props, nothing happens . . . wondering what magic step(s) I may have omitted.

Anybody else played with these props in the '07 version, or can give me a heads up on how to put bottom grid lines in list box?

Thanks in advance,
LM

I am not sure what those properties do either. I could not find any information. However, if you want a grid and other formatting your best best is a listview instead of a standard listbox. Look in the Faqs under listbox there are some good examples. This demo shows how to make a grid, add colors and other formatting:

MajP and Savil,

Thanks for the info on the listview. Unfortunately, I haven’t used one before --how do I set up the data for one? I have been using a cross-tab query for my list box.

Thanks,
LM

Did you look at the demo I sent? I shows you how to load the data from a recordset based on a table.

Sorry MajP, I missed that. Have it now and will try it today.
I will post back later (hopefully today) with results.
Thanks,
LM

Also there are three very good FAQs on this subject to include loading a listview. Just click the FAQ button at the top of the form.

MajP--
Got it to work, using your example. Many thanks for the help!
