Maybe get the registered providers from the registry.
I made a control that provides my users with all available ODBC drives. It works perfect.
I retrieve all data from the registry.

I'll look into it.
I'm also trying to launch the 'Data Link Properties' dialog from VFP and get the resulting connection string.
It's pretty straight forward in VB. However in VFP I would need to register the OLDDB dll's.
Anyone out there done this?
