List Filtering

I have created a new view for a list that uses a filter but it is not working. The view works fine and shows the expected columns however no filter I apply works. I have a column that is a checkbox and filtered the column to equals yes but it still shows the item regardless of the value. Any ideas why this is happening?

Are you using "is Equal to" or "is less then or equal to" yes?

Also make sure sharepoint has had all updates installed.

I am using "is equal to" and the version is 6.0.2.5530.

I haven't seen this before. Try killing the column and recreating it and the filters.

I've actually tried creating new vies but always get the same results. I think I'll try rebooting the system and see if it helps.

I figured it out. I didn't realize everytime you change a view for a list you need to reapply it using the modify shared web part.
