Workstation install from source requires during the installation that the kernel compiler header files be located. But they are usually not installed so they must be downloaded and installed.

I see that the gcc.gnu.org site has versions for download: But which version was used by the kernel and how does one install them?

Thanks,
mwm

I have since installed for experimentation the latest Fedora 6 and used the beta of Workstation 6 -- smooth, not a wrinkle.

Yours,
Mike
