I am planning a disaster recovery procedure to start up a linux box client from scratch.

I've installed the OS again, Networker client and set up the filesystems by means of LVM.

Before erasing this host I had done a backup "All". Today I have tried to recover the information but the server refused to boot.

The question is very simple: what savesets do I need to exclude? I read the disaster recovery guide from EMC but it is not very explicit. It speaks about

At the moment, I am recovering all except /boot, /dev, /etc/fstab and some more.

Would you like to light my way?

Thank you so much in advance.

Were you able to boot your server after re-installing the OS?

Finally I succeed in booting the machine.

I avoided selecting /boot, /dev, /proc and /sys filesystems. It seems difficult to Linux —and it's got a lot of sense, substituing these files on-line.

Thanks anyway
