Can you sujjest some good books on Linux certification or on Shell programming
 
is the most helpful site. They have many products, the site is easy to navigate, and there are lots of reviews posted.

My favorite shell programming book is: 'Unix Shells by Example' by Ellie Quigley, July 1999. Good for beginners.

Maybe you would like this one, combines Linux and shell programming:
I've not seen or read it though...

As far as Linux certification books, I'd try the O'Reilly website:
