Hello everybody.
I recently started a webserver so I went to the routers web interface and did some port forwarding.
Here comes the problem.
I cannot anymore reach the routers web interface because when I type the external IP the browser takes me to the webpage I have build for my web server.
Is there any workaround so I can login to the routers interface again?
Thanks.

Have you configured your webpage to the Ip in question or is it set within the DHCP range?

I dont quite understand your question.I am not familiar with routers, so I describe what I did as I remember it.
I went to the port forwarding section of the router interface. In the application name I typed web server and gave it the port 80 to listen to. then I typed the ip my machine uses and I checked enable.
Thats all, since then I cant loggin into the router interface but the webpage my server runs.
Thank you.

Are you trying to access your router through a external public IP address? You should have an internal IP address for your router that is almost certainly the same as your default gateway on your web server, try using that address to access your routers config page.

The Linksys routers have a "Remote Management" section you can configure. You can log into the admin page of the router and change this port to something that isn't in use (0-65535) then it won't conflict with an actual service.
