Hey All,

I have a Linksys WRT54GS and I am trying to use it as a wireless access point to our W2k3 Network.

I can get to the point that it will allow people outside of the network onto the internet but I cannot get it to allow them to see/browse the internal network.

Set up is as follows:

3 Servers all running W2k3. Primary W2k3 Server running DNS, and AD. Router to T1 is handling DHCP for only 1- 50 (For guest wireless router to internet). 1. Wireless Device installed (Same brand in different building) allowing for only internet access via the T1 Router. 2nd Wireless Device needs to allow logon to the network.

Essentially, I want to use the Wireless Router as nothing more than a Wireless Switch.

Any help or web references for help is greatly appreciated.

1. Disable DHCP
2. Set to Router and not Gateway mode
3. Run Cat5 from a LAN port of Router #1 to Uplink port of this new Router #3

Ok I understand the first two.

The 3rd I am not sure I understand. The #1 router does not manage my DHCP for the entire network, just for a few machines. The W2k3 servers manage Static IP's for the rest of the network and that is outside the scope of the #1 Routers DHCP.

Currently I have it set-up like this.

Router #1 - Switch (Non Manged) - Router #2.

The Servers all plug into the Non Managed Switch.
