linksys wireless - b pci adapter ---> problems

I have an on going problem with my linksys wirelss adapter. Every other day or 2 my wireless network goes down. I look in the device manager and it has an exclamation point on my pci adapter and says it is not working properly. I reset my computer and everything is fine..sometimes, I have to reinstall the card and drivers...is there a reason for this why this is happening it seems just out of the blue...I notice it happens when my pc is idle and im not using it, never happens in the middle of going online...??

give that a try
turn of windows file protection, it might replace a dll.

If that doesn't work you might try giving it a firmware upgrade. Download the file off of their website and just run the file.
