I setup a Linksys VPN router on my company server and the same router on my PC at home. Office is W2K Server 2000 Home is WinXP Pro. The router shows that it is connected but I can't browse the network. I do not have any firewalls enabled. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I can ping the companys static ip but not by server name. Are there some kind of permissions that i'm missing on the server end?

their is a advance(more) button on the bottom of the vpn tab, click it and then down at the bottom of this page is a box to put a checkmark on netbios, check that one I would check keep-alive too-save and do the same thing on the other router. that should do it.... good luck and tell me it that did not work.

Daisytele, thanks for the input but after i did what you suggested i still can't see anything. The routers on both ends still say they are connected but that's it. One thing I can mention is that the answering router has a static IP but mine does not. Do I have to create IPsec policies on each PC?

Thx
