linksys router drops connect to internet from my wireless

Hello people

I had to pull the power on my linksys router to get back onto the internet after my ISP made some changes.

Now My wireless laptop drops the internet then reconnects after about a minute and drops again anywhere from 10 to 20 mins.

any idea whats happening

Do you have a wired computer ? Does it display the same problem. If so update the firmware on the router.

Hi

I shutdown the remote laptop

unplugged the cable modem
unplugged the linksys router

shutdown the main computer

plugged in the Modem and router
restarted the main computer
made sure i got an internet page

made sure the lights on the router were on


booted the laptop
and it's been working since
