I would like to know if someone can give me step by step setup of connecting my BEFSX41 with a dynamic IP address asssigned by my ISP to Checkpoint firewall with a static IP address. The systems behind the dynamic IP address have 192.168.1.0 255.255.255.0 network. Behind the checkpoint the address is 172.16.0.0 255.255.0.0. The tunnel is built temporarily if I use the ip address assigned to the BEFSX41 router.

I assume you are trying to create a site-to-site tunnel? It's been a while since I did VPN work on CP 4.1 but if I remember correctly you have to use an IP for the remote side (BEFSX41) side. Another option might be to use DDNS for you client instead of an IP that way when the IP changes on the Linksys side it would be updated and the host name would continue to work. Hope this helps.
