Hello!

I am trying to post textures on a server for designers and artists to download. How do I create a link on a Web page from a low-res image or Web Photo Album that allows them to download the high res image from the server? So that it will download to their desktop when they click on the link, rather than a new page?

This might be really obvious...but I have 2 books and can't find the information anywhere....

Thanks!!!!!!
Scott

The solution is very simple, just compress your file into a zip document, this way when they click on the small version the browser will automaticly dowoad the file because it can't read it.

Otherwise, you will have to do what everybody else does, and tell the user to just clik and hold the link and select download from the pop-up menu.
Andre Vandal
dezign@canada.com
<a href= Dezign's Sites
A bit of eveything Celestial

Is there another way to have downloadable links. I am working on an intranet and I would like to have reports available for download but Id rather not put them in zip files, and if there is a way to download them without right-clicking and choosing save, please let me know.
thanks
tinyswat
