Ever since applying the LiveLink integration to Outlook (2000 / SP1 Security Fixes + SP3), outlook crashes when closing someone elses calendar or folder (Once it has been opened using -file - open - other users folder.)

The details of the crash are as follows;

AppName: outlook.exe AppVer: 9.0.0.6604 ModName: mso9.dll
ModVer: 9.0.0.6926 Offset: 001a28b4

This happens on all PC's within the organisation. (40+)

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Firstly, which version of Livelink Explorer and Email integration are you using?

The latest version Explorer 4.3.3 is available.

Do you have the same versions of module and client installed?

How are you installing the client, using the MSI installer, from the web page update or SMS (or any other packager)?

From experience, issues I've had have been with the install not working correctly first time with packaging software.

From Add/Remove Programs, run a Repair.

Also check the components. From LLExp, select Livelink\Diagnostics\Components

If you still have problems, turn on the logging from the Events Tab and open a Call.

Regards, Mark.

This is a known problem with the Livelink Outlook integration. It happens when you open an item in a new window and then close it. Please contact OT Support to get the .dll file which solves the problem.
