I am very new at access and have a question. I am trying to build a database for a friend of mine that has a dog training business. I have one table for customer info one for dog info and one for training info so he can track and enter info on seperate pages. What I would like to do is be able to have it when he goes into the dog info page to enter the info have a text box bring over the current customers name and attach it to that dog or dogs. Then when going into the training page it will carry over the dog and owners name. Can anyone guide me down the right path to make this work?

Thanks so much in advance!
Todd

You need two additional relationship tables:

tblOwnerDog
OwnerID
DogID

tblDogTraining
DogID
TrainingID

This will allow you to create the queries and forms you need. Have a look at the Northwind sample database for ideas and read

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me out. I am heading to the link you posted now to do some reading. Once again Thank You!!!
