Hi guys,

Part of the Director project I'm working on is driving me nuts. The client has asked if a documents section can link to Word documents - they want to be able to download the doc and then amend it.

I thought I'd be clever and link by attaching a 'go to url' behaviour, but it's not liking the link even though I've put a test document in a folder within the main presentation folder.

I've tried searching for help, some sites say you can import word files, but I'm having no luck :eek:/

To top it all I have the feeling that it's dead easy!

Hope you can help me, thanks )

I think you need to buy Buddy API - this does all sorts of clever things including opening Word documents. The site reference is:

You can use 4 commands (I think) from the software for free.

Hope this helps - somone may have a better way
