Hi

I have created a presentation for cd rom made up of two movies. The two movies run from flash player only.

The first one contains the introduction and the main site, the second movie contains the exit movie. The reason I have made two separate movies is that the first movie has a black colour stage and the second movie has a white colour stage.

I am right in thinking that you cannot change the stage colour half way through a movie? I hope so!! (if not con you tell me how to do this, cos I have search around with no joy)

My main question is this. If i have a exit button in my first movie that, when pressed, calls the second movie, how do i do this.

I have had a play around with the load movie but this inherits the stage colour that you have set for the movie that is doing the calling.

Is there a way to just call the second movies?

I hope this makes sense.

Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Thanking you in advance.

Have you tried adding a filled colored graphic shape (or movie clip)on the lowest layer of the second movie?

When loading the second movie in the first one (on another level...) it should block off the underlying movie & stage color...

Or simply load the second movie on _level0, thus replacing the first one...

loadMovieNum("second.swf", 0);

BTW, it is possible to change the stage's color half way through the movie.

Thanks for that Oldnewbie

Would you mind pointing me in the right direction of how you change the stage colour?
