Hi guys, I've been told that you can link several swf's together by using a command called loadmovie. I have two swf's, an intro and a movie swf.
The problem is that I have read the explanations but it's way abovemy knowledge :)

I'd love it if any of you more cunning guys could make an example file for me and the only thing i would have to do was to change the two names of your examples so it would work for me. I don't know how long this takes so maybe it's a big favor to ask, but it's for a multimedia presentation and there are only a couple of days left of my deadline.

If you have the 2 .flas (project files), the easiest might be to join the 2 movies in a new 2 scenes movie... But at this point, this also might be over your head.

But you can try the following:
In your intro movie, add an actions only layer if you don't already have one. It should extend or be equal to the longuest layer of this intro movie. Select the last frame of that actions layer and add a keyframe by pressing F6. Double-click this new keyframe which will bring up the Frame Actions window. From the actions list on the left, double-click the loadMovie action, it should appear on the right. Simply fill in the name of your main movie in the URL box, so you get something like:

loadMovieNum ("mymovie.swf", 0);

Close the Frame Actions windows and test your intro movie. When it reaches the end, it should load and be replaced by your other movie.
All you have to make sure, is that both movies are in the same folder.

Even if that would work it would not work out for me, because the first swf, the intro, does not have an fla-file, it was made in a program called swish. Got another idea? :)
