linking subreports with parameters?

I have a report with a copy of the main report as a sub report, the report has to run off (many)Parameters. My problem is that when trying to link the subreports links ( parameters are not displayed at all) is this not an option( I can do formulas and feilds ,but no parameters?????) ?

What is the backflip method? I have never heard of that.

and there is also great info on news groups. but be careful this is something Crystal doesn’t want you to use , so if you call for support on it ( they will play dumb )cause its a competitors function)).
