Linking question

I'm just getting into Crystal, so please excuse my lack of proper terms.

I'm trying to link two tables with a unique number field. The problem is that the one table only has a selected few of the the numbers. When I link them and run a report, crystal is discarding all the numbers that are not in both tables. Is there a way to hold a blank/zero value in the one table where it does not find a corresponding value.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Use a Left Outer join from the main table to the one which does not contain a corresponding link, typically called a Parent Child relationship.
