Linking problem

I am having a problem linking AP with the GL in Visionpoint 10. My company is on the C drive, I have it set up in my GL, but when I take the "praxis" name out of the the data location on the setup screen and place my own company name in, my co. name is not accepted. C drive is shown and the path seems right, but I am at a loss. I set Visionpoint up years ago at another company, and i think i had the same problem, but I have forgotten how I fixed it. ANy help would be appreciated

The GL company you are linking to needs to be first setup correctly within VP, i.e. so you can open it and run reports and add new accounts.
You shouldn't be able to edit the path to the GL data from the AP Setup screen unless you have had modifications.
The path for GL data cannot be more than 30 characters long and should not include spaces or full stops.
You should have files called: GLACNTnn.DBF and GLACNTnn.CDX in that path; where nn is the GL company number.

Once GL is correctly setup, it should be as simple as changing the GL company number in AP Change Setup Information.
