I am in the process of converting reports to MS SQL and no longer have access to the Linking Options - lower left corner where you "link to two files from this file".

ie. Item file links directly to:
PO line file and Customer line file

Now that I am using MS SQL, the options in the lower left corner are now grayed out. (I used to choose all of one, then all of the other) Under MS SQL, I am limited to the left outer join. However, the results are similar to "Look up all the combinations". When summarizing, I get duplicate details and incorrect summarys. HELP! Mark

Hi Mark,

What database driver are you using? Is it/should it be an ODBC driver allowing all the joining you want? I know some native db drivers act the way you are describing.

I hope this helps

Cheers,

paulmarr

The driver is pdsodbc.dll and the linking options in the lower left corner are grayed out and unavailable. This was not the case when connecting to pervasive sql but has occurred since using the odbc driver and directing the source to microsoft sql.
