Greetings anyone who may be able to help me, my dilema is this I DW MX I can link text & picture but when it comes to linking a flash button it appears to be O.K and shows on the site map as linked but when viewed in explorer takes you to "page cannot be displayed" answers on a postcard please.

Hi

Please send me the url page where the problem is, have you uploaded it ?

Is this a flash text or flash button ?

Sorry for the delay in getting back i've been busy. The page itself is in the early stages I have a big HTML site that I am plannig to re-build in a more proffesional style.

I have set the link for the flash button in the settings part of the flash button (sorry its not very technical) and it just links to page cannot be displayed as well as driving me crazy, setting links using the same format for pictures & text and that works so i cant see where I am going wrong.

Thank you for your response,
Stuart

Hi Stuart

I am getting the same thing because , I believe, the pages have not been uploaded to the net. When I write an actual in the link space of an actual web page, it does connect. Even if you go browse and click on another webpage in the same folder and you would not get the entire address e.g. \whatever.html it does not work. I suggest you upload the page temporarily to one of yopur webpages online and also the page that the button has to link to and then test it

Let me know what happened please.

I have mostly written in the entire webaddress for each button on my pages, not browse and then click on the subpage. Have not had any problems that way.
