Linking excel to access dynamically

Hi,

How can one dynamically link an excel file to access?

I have an excel file that I need to update automatically at the end of the day. And then I need this updated file to be linked to an access database so that the database is updated dynamically.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi

You could setup a 'Link Table' in the database and link it to the Excel file. As soon as the Excel file is amended then the database will reflect this change

OK- here is a slightly different question.

Suppose you want the user to select (eg. from a drop down menu) the file which is to be imported into a table in Access. What would be the code for this?
