hi
i'm having a problem with compiling a visual C++ 6 MFC program
during linking phase i get this warning

LINK : warning LNK4089: all references to "ODBC32.dll" discarded by /OPT:REF

i also have a problem to run the software on win 95
probably due to that linking warning
on win 98 and higher it runs ok

thank's

/OPT:REF - to eliminate functions and/or data that is never referenced.
So it seems this msg can't cause any troubles.
You may have problems on Win 95 because of no relatively modern components on it (for example - Unicode support, DCOM etc).

the thing is that the probleam is that i can't connect to the database from win 95
i try to connect sql server 7

Can you connect to the database from the ODBC Data Source Adm window in the Control Panel of Win 95 station?
It's unclear what data access mechanics used in your program (ODBC, ODBC via DAO or what else).
