Linking 'Autonumber' text box ID to Subform ID

Hi all,

Decided to start a new thread since my initial thread got a bit messy.

Here is my issue, with the help of Duane, I now have a form linked to a subform through the PartId field. The PartId is autonumber and I was expecting that when entering a new record, the subform PartId field would populate automatically? Am I wrong?

How would I be able to pass the autonumber PartsId field on the main form to the subform?

Please advise?

Double check the LinkMasterFields and LinkChildFields properties of your linked subform.

PH..ignore. i found it. It was on the SubForm properties. Both LinkMasterFields and LinkChildFields are PartId. Is this correct?
