I am trying to develop an Order database where you can assign the incoming orders to the people that should do them, but when linking access to the calendar I am not able to create any new appointments from access. Is this possible and if so HOW??

thanx

What do you mean linking them to an Access Control calendar or external Calendar ??

I would like to link the database to the calendar in Outlook2000

I don't think you can link the database to the Calendar but if you go to you can search the knowledge base and look for Article No: Q209963. This will explain everything about adding appointments to Outlook 2000.

You can also check out Article No: Q209932 as well this allows you to add a task or reminder to Outlook 2000.

Hope I have been some help...

Thanx!! Everything becomes much easier when I begin to understand how stuff works :)

Hi There.

I tried this out according to the technet, but I get a compile error.

user-defined type not defined.
Dim objoutlook as outlook.application

Why do I get this error.
I used the exact code that was given.

Thanks in advance.

you need a REFERENCE to outlook in you access app.

you need to read the entire article, as the need to add the reference is (as you have seen) quite important.

Hi There.

Now that I can add appointments to outlook, how can I delete an appointment and change the same appointment for another time slot.

I appreciate the help in advance.
