Linking 2 queries in ReportNet

Hello,
I want to create 2 queries on a report, and display the 2 queries one below the other. These 2 queries have a data item that is common to both of them.
The obvious answer was to create a Master Detail Relationship, but that will not work unless I create a page break by the common item between the queries.
Is there any other way to do this?
