Linked Tables 2

Morning All,

I have a linked database, however one of my colleques suggeted that it would be a great idea to have a ticked field to say job complete. Problem, how do i add a field to an existing linked table, as it won't let me, I have tried deleting the link as suggested in help but it says i have to delete the relationship, once i do that and try and delete the link it deletes the table. Any suggestions?

Your haelp or advice would be as always greatly appeciated.

You need to go to the table that you are linked to and input the tick box there

While you are at it - Why not make it a Date field rather than a tick box ?

You just know that someone is going to come back and say "When?"

and you can use "If IsNull(DateComplete)" just as easily as "If Not Complete"

Thanks guys, the tip about the date is excellent. Hymn - The database is split and I am at the front end is that right or should i be looking else where.
