Linked tables with relative path? 4

Hello,
I need to use a relative path for a linked table. How can I do that? Everytime I try to link in a table, it uses an absolute path, which will not work for the application that I am using. I appreciate any help you can offer.

Hi rbertam,

will your other server be mapped to the user's machine at all (regardless of drive letter)?

if not then you would need your code to check for (and if necessary map) a connection if you dont want to use the UNC in the path.

If you let me know I have a couple of solutions for both...
