I've linked to a word document from a webpage - looks great and work fine. But anyone can then change the word document within their browser - obviously it won't save the changes on the server, but still i don't want anyone to be able to make these changes - i want it only to be viewable.
is there a setting i'm missing when doing this hyperlink? or do i need to do something to the word document?

any feedback welcome!

You can always put a password on your word document directly. I think the option can be found under the menu EXTRA.
Don't forget to make your word document a form ;-)
