I have 2 pdf docs both uploaded to the web and I want to link from one to a specific page within the other, can this be done, someone mentioned that at the end of the url you use a # symbol or something but I can't get it to work, does anyone have any ideas?

Many thanks in advance for your help

Thanks, BenRowe! I'll check it out :)

Hi Ben
Thanks for this, I have read the attached doc and tried out every variation of .pdf#page=2 and also ive set up destinations in the 2nd doc and tried .pdf#destination_...... but it still won't work. ive no idea what im doing wrong ive read and re-read the abobe 7 help about destinations and can't get them to work, do you know if this process is different when using adobe version 7 at all?

Again many thanks for you help, im might just be something im doing wrong.

Hi Ben
Me again, ive just worked out why its not working, it works if I open the link in a browser but I have my adobe set to open pdfs in Adobe not in the browser, do you know if there is a way to make it work without having to open pdfs in the browser?

Thanks again
k

Is your link within the pdf file? If so, then you should be creating a bookmark in the pdf.
