Link to an Avaya IP 500

Hey guys,

Just a quick question. Have a customer who's asked to Link our IP 500 to a KX-NCP500. Can they handle a SIP line or just a H.323 link? Anyone done it before?

They can do both. I have connected ncp to siemens through isdn qsig before and it worked great. Not done sip but it should work

Haha, I did a Qsig line to one once from an IPO and that was a pain in the... to get running.

We have that using H.323 : Avaya IP Office 9.1 <> Panasonic NCP 500 ( maybe replaced with a 700 by now ) and we have some installs at customer sites were we only use the Panasonic DECT as it is a lot cheaper as the Avaya DECT.
