I have two tables:
Customers - with CustomerID and details
Calls - With CallID ,CustomerID and details
All relationships are created.

I have created a subform for the calls table. After I pick a customer from a combo box in the parent form, i can fill in the calls i made to him in the subform.

I need the CustomerID in the Calls table to be populated automatically.

How can i link the subform manully?
(PS - Link subform in the wizard does not open!!why??)

Thanks.

Link the form and subform through the child and master fields if you use the wizard it will give you step by step instructions.

Sorry didn't read all of your post. :~/

You cound just type in the "combo boxes name" into the link master field in the properties window of the subform and "CustermerID" in the child field.

Thanks Lars7.
Where is the Link Master Field? I couldnt find it in the subform properties.

Click on subform, you will see just the outside edge will highlight and then go to properties.
