I am looking to replace a MICS 5.0 at our warehouse with a MICS 6.1, that we had at a facility that closed. It is the "original" (E06) 6.1 software; my vendor is trying to get us the G05 or G10.
We are getting DID's installed within the next few weeks, and for the most part, I have the 6.1 system already programmed. We want to install it at the warehouse prior to the DID's & T1 (not PRI) being activated.
I have the 6.1 system in the local computer room, hooked to a 5.0 system here via E&M with a cross-over cable, to make sure that the two systems would "talk".
Anyways, I noticed that when I go to send a link (for remote page) FROM the 6.1 system to the 5.0 system, the 6.1 system does not release the line (on the 6.1 system). The only way to release the line on the 6.1 system is to disable & re-enable the card (which, BTW, shows 0 ports busy when I go into maintenance).
Sending the link from the 5.0 to 6.1 system works properly.
Will either the G05 or G10 maintenance release fix this issue?
Thanks
