hi there,
if u go to this site:
and select a thing from this site and go to checkout or for convenience just access this link:

and click checkout..it says"page cannot be displayed" though i have this file FormTemp.php in the cd /var/ directory..
how can i find out why this link isnt working?

i can send u the code if you want?

let me know

Thanks,
Smita

Your form tag really should have the method="post" as an attribute. That might be the cause.

ok i solved the problem..but still dint understand how this thing got there:
the links after submitting were taking me to another page whose url started with https...i just replaced it with http and it worked...
now this code has been on this server for 2 years..untouched....how did it change to https or was it https since starting and something ahppned to ssl encryption..any idea?
i am going to check the backup of this directory too to find out..

but any ideas?

well the backup has https ...?
so is it right to say that there is no encryption now?

helloo anybody there to answer my query????

Be patient.
If http:// is stated, that's what it is - no encryption.
Did you fix the form tag?

yes i fixed it.,..as i told u i replaced http to https and it started working...

You have not answered the question or not read my post carefully.
I am not clear what you did. Your earlier post says

and your most recent says

Now, which one? And what question do you have left to be answered?

the server was a secure server (ie, with encryption)... for whatever reason the server no longer is using the ssl encryption.

If you are running a shopping cart that handles financial transactions itself, then this is very bad news!

If it aint broke, redesign it!

hmmm i will have to see wht went wrong...anyways thanks everyone for the help..i really appreciate it!!!!
