Link between ipoffice and rightfax, PRI, SIP

Good Morning,

Our customer has a central IP Office 500 v2 Rls. 8.1, with 2 E1 links (60 channels) of which 50 channels are inbound DID R2) and 10 outgoing channels DTMF DOD. This is operational.
Additionally we have a link E1 PRI with 30 channels connected to a RightFax and 20 sip trunk RightFax also connected to.
The PRI link is already up and synchronized with the RigthFax.
What you want to implement is: When a person calls into the IP Office 500 V2 using each DID channel, the call should be sent (along with the 4 digits received from provider) to RigthFax through E1 PRI and SIP trunk.

This route dont work, please anyone can help us

Do you get fax tone when it is called? is the right fax an extension off the phone system?

I made a Kofax connection, it's similar to RightFax.

No guarantee that it works for you, but here is the basics of the setup I made.

Make SIP Line to Right Fax:

SIP URI
URI 1 - None||*|*|*|None|None|7|7|20|
URI 2 - None||123456|123456|123456|None|None|8|8|20|

Make ARS Fax:
N;|N"@yourfaxdomain.com"|Dial|7|

Make ARS Unknown:
N|N"@yourfaxdomain.com"|Dial|8|

Make Short Code
999|Dial|.|ARS Fax|

Make user:
"RFAX"| 4001
Short Code: N|your fax number|Dial|ARS Fax
Frw uncond to: 999
SIP Tab> SIP Name: Your fax number

Make Incomming callroute:
Line group: Your PRI
Number: Your fax numbers
Destiantion: 4001

Make Incomming callroute:
Line group: 7
Number: <BLANK>
Destiantion: .

Make an IP Route to the Rightfax IP address if it's on another network than IPO Lan.

There are devconnect docs for Avaya Aura. Some settings are universal, so I recommend you read those.

we have problema, to get Access to the pri trunk, in the system monitor the link is ok ( PRI link) but when we try to get any trunk we get busy tone.


Do you know any restriction in the ip office program, that i have to remove in orden to get Access?

Probably short code or the config of your PRI line, but guessing what tou did wrong is almost impossible.
It could help if you posted a trace of the failed call.
