What would cause lines to not get released on a MICS?
Every now and then, our lines will say in use when nobody is on them. They dont seem to release when the person hangs up.

Any ideas what I can look for?

make sure your lines are set for supervision, if they are go to the dmark and see if you see the disc supervision at that point.

OLD ROLMEN WORKING ON NORTELS

Fullautohold is disables and supervision is enabled on all lines.

I'm not sure what you mean by "see the disc supervision" at the Dmarc.

Make sure that your carrier is providing the disconnect to your system. Also make sure that you are using a trunk card that accepts the signal.

Still having a the same old problem with this.
Do you think the trunk card needs replacing?

Did you see if the Telco is providing disconnect?

Yes it is. And as I said it only happens about once per month or so.

2 questions.
How many lines in your system?
And is the problem on a particular line or is it jumping around?
