I am I charge of the IP Office 500 v2 with the software version 7.0 and I have been trying to get two things take care of. This only has 4 lines and a few handsets with the basic voice mail system.

I have been trying to find documentation that will help me set up the handset to allow the calls to ring in on the some of the handsets ext-201,202, 203( I can get the handsets to dial out using 9 for an outside line ) when I dial in it just rings and does not who on any set. Also I am trying to set up a simple auto attendant if there is no answer after about 4 rings.

I have looked on the internet and I can't seem to get any step by step instructions that will show me how to program these two things. I have a basic understanding of the IP Office. The online help just plays a video that is really no help at all.

Can someone help me with these two issues? Thanks

This isn't really covered in documentation, rather it is covered in training for maintainers and F1 in Manager.
You'll need the Manager program from the Avaya Admin Suite (minimum Manager 9.0 for you) to achieve this programming.
After that's it's pretty basic stuff for a maintainer, but you'll need specific programming for your circumstances.
Most likely hunt group membership additions.
Good luck.

Yes, I do have the manager program and suite and I have been able to log onto the IP Office and view all of the current configurations and I have administrator rights. I am familiar with HUNT group programing but only with Nortel systems.

Ok.
Check your incoming call route progamming to see the destination of your trunk or indial.
Probably a hunt group called main.
Go to hunt groups>main>members when in hours and add your desired extensions using append.
Untick the member box for coverage only- no ring
Change your ring method i.e. Collective call waiting on the hunt grroup title page.
Merge and test by ringing hunt group main's extension number.

For Aa you need to send the icr to a new aa module. The aa module then notifies the hunt group in your aa programming.

Thanks, I will by the way every time I MERGE the config it reboots the system. Any idea why?

An immediate merge will reboot. Merge will upload the config hot.
Complete the merge in the method that Manager recommends automatically for best results.
