I have a client that wants line privacy on all his lines, but he wants to be able to listen in on some of the calls without the other end knowing he is there. Is there a feature code or something that can do this. Thanks

What switch and software version?

I believe you have to have a call pilot, then you can use silent monitor.

thats against the law in most states and if you set it up you could be liable

7.0 software.

He owns a dealer ship and if he gets a complaint from a costumer about one of his sales guys being rude he wants to beable to listen to their conversation.

In most states (I live in Michigan), it is perfectly legal to record, or monitor a conversation so long as one party, either caller or called, is aware that the call may be monitored/recorded. (Hence, all those irritating prompts that tell you "This call may be monitored for training purposes")
