Hello,

I have 5 ISDN lines in Pool A and i use routing with 9 to access Pool A.

Now i've added 1 more ISDN and set it to Pool B and added the DN's that need to go out using only that pool. But now when those DN's press 9 i want them to go out from Pool B, but i can't add 2 pool's in 1 destination code.

Can i use something like that or i must use different destination code to access Pool B?

Regards,
Nikola

Try this Remove the 9 as the Desti code or Access Code. Then put the 9 in as the External Code under Access Codes. Then when they use 9 it should only pick up whatever pool they are allowed.

Make the pool as there prime line to pick so when they dial 9 it will pick there prime. And as hawks said use external code not routes or access codes.

Thanks hawks it worked. But i have one more question some of the users are members of od Pool C(VoIP lines).

I was using destination code 8 to access pool C. to get 8 working again i had to remove 8 from destination code and add it as access code on Line Pools so when i press 8 i'm going out using pool C.

The problem is now because DN's have access to pool A and pool C and when all the lines in pool A are used it's not denying access but it automatically uses pool C from which i can't make local calls.

Is there any way to separate pool A and pool B to use 9 as external code for local calls (when all lines are in use to drop the call) and use 8 for pool C for my VoIP calls.

Regards,
Nikola

As far as i remember the method described to you allows your extn to select its own pool.
this means you can only be assigned to 1 pool.
if you need to access a second pool by the samw extn then this method does not work.unless you dia; the access code
Thats why you use routing .to over flow to another route
