Is there a setting for DS in Auto Attendant or on lines? The trouble is a caller gets a mailbox and hangs up but the line never disconnects. The mailbox keeps recording the beep, beep, beep, beep, beep. Its a partner acs with messaging large card.

there is no setting for line disconnect supervision on the partner. this issue is more then likely with your line provider not giving you disconnect supervision.

Thats what I thought. I called the provider and they claim they're providing a .8 second disconnect at the dmark. I'll have to make a trip, and test with a test set.

There is a setting for hold disconnect time. (#203) Check it and make sure it's not zero. Default is 450msec. Don't know if that could cause your scenario, but worth a look.
