Line card locking up?

I have a MICS 7.1XC software level with Two CI line cards POTS and today during a call The line went silent.. Hung up and then the line button when selected would spit out a fast busy signal and the display would say " not in service ", Trying to use the line via Line pool code i would get a normal busy and the display would tell me line in use but no one was using it.

Noticed on my Voip modem the line was hanging so i restarted the system and it was still locked up so i had to go into system programming and disable the line cards and ( which reported idle ) and that seemed to free up the line and system.

What do you guys think?

Also forgot to mention, No Alarm's or events other than me being in system configuration and system start up after i restarted, waited the few minutes got no codes.

Have you checked to see if lines are supervised or unsupervised??? All lines should have supervision on.

Thank you for the reply, yes all lines are supervised. The problem hasn't ever happened again so im not sure. All i did was restart and reseat all the cards and it has been plugging away without locking up since?
